The pupil distance is the distance between your two pupils. This measure is important to determine where the exact center of the lens should be in your new glasses. Pupil distance is measured in millimeters. <\/p>\n\n
PD can be measured as one total distance (usually between 60 and 80 mm for adults and between 40 and 60 mm for children) or individually for each eye.<\/p>\n\n
A measurement per eye measures the distance between the center of the bridge of the nose and the center of your pupil, for each eye separately. When added up, this in turn results in a total PD between 60 and 80 mm. <\/p>\n\n
