Prescription eyewear (glazing)

Most of our frames range can be made prescription by replacing the lenses with lenses with your specific prescription strength. We can fit our frames with single lenses (one power for distance) or with progressive lenses (one power for distance and one for near). You put together the lenses yourself, including any tints and coatings, so that your glasses fit perfectly with your use. Depending on the brand and model, we can do this with our own “Specialspex Custom” lenses or with the original lenses from the supplier, for example with Oakley, Maui Jim and Julbo.

How do I order prescription glasses?

In the main menu, set the filter to “prescription”. Here you will find all glasses that we can glaze. Use the filters in the left column to search by use or frame color. Then choose the frame and put together your glasses in our lens program.

Choose the glass design

Single: suitable for one viewing distance (distant).

Multifocal / varifocal: combines far and near vision in one lens.

Choose the shade

Bright: general use.

Brown or copper: extra contrast.

Gray: natural color reproduction.

Green: rest for the eyes in shaded conditions.

Polarized: reduces glare from water or wet asphalt.

Multi-colored: darkens in bright sunlight and brightens again in dim light; ideal for outdoor sports and safety glasses.

Choose the finish

Mirror coating: colored mirror on the front, water and dust repellent.

Anti-fogging coating (inside): prevents fogging during sports, motorcycling or changing temperatures, so you always keep clear vision.
